DESCRIPTION
Cushion cover handmade of 100% white linen, a material entirely of vegetable origin. On the front, an exquisite embroidery, inspired by traditional Portuguese lace and Portuguese tiles. At the back, an opening with two buttons.

Embroidery as well as lace is a Portuguese Tradition in several regions of the country. They entered Portugal, at the time of the Discoveries, through reproductions that came from abroad. Later, the various regions that adopted them gave them a very own and exclusive mark. The embroidery from Viana do Castelo, the embroidery from Madeira and the "bilro" lace from Vila do Conde are a few examples. This embroidery, which we call Portuguese lace, is a mixture of two very Portuguese activities, lace and tile-making.

Linen is considered one of the noblest materials, due to its characteristics, high durability, resistance, permeability and ecological sustainability. It has the ability to maintain its appearance unchanged even after years of use and tends to keep its original colour even after successive washes.
